About the Role
A leading Pre-owned car dealership is seeking an experienced Senior Retail Manager to drive their retail strategy and operations, overseeing sales performance, improving efficiency, and managing the overall retail division. The role will take over the COO’s current responsibility for managing the warehouse and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee retail business operations, including:
- Sales and customer experience
- Warehouse operations
- Buying team
- Large call centre
- Manage departmental managers to ensure operational excellence.
- Drive efficiency and performance improvements across the retail division.
Requirements
- Strong retail management background (experience running a retail business is essential).
- Candidates from large retail chains (e.g., Pick n Pay) may be considered.
- Dealer Principals (automotive) are ideal but not mandatory.
- Focus is on skill and capability, not age or race.
