About the Role
Bluff Personnel, a well-established and upmarket national retail store in Durban North, is seeking an experienced and qualified Store Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our FMCG store, ensuring optimal sales performance and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage gross profit and expenses to achieve company targets
- Oversee staff management, including recruitment, training, and employee relations
- Lead a team of sales assistants, stockroom staff, and other support personnel
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols in the workplace
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Process transactions, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate records
- Analyze sales data and make informed decisions to optimize product placement and promotions
Requirements
- Matric with BCom Degree or relevant Management, Financial qualification
- Min. 10 years experience in the FMCG retail environment
- Strong financial acumen focusing on Gross profit and Expenses
- Great staff management and confident people leader skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- Positive / good attitude
- Hands-on and Operationally strong
Qualifications
- Matric with BCom Degree or relevant Management, Financial qualification
Salary & Benefits
R45 000 to R50 000 per annum dependent on experience and qualification.
