About the Role
A leading chocolate company situated in Cape Town is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Junior Chocolatier to join their team. We are looking for a talented individual with confectionary experience and a passion for creating innovative chocolate products.
Key Responsibilities
- Temper chocolate by hand.
- Do recipe costing on pastries and chocolates.
- Manage the chocolate room and stock.
- Develop and implement proactive solutions for the pastry department.
- Develop innovative chocolate products and develop flavour profiles.
- Ensure that all chocolate work is of an international standard.
- Perform stringent quality tests on raw materials.
Requirements
- Relevant Diploma/Course.
- Confectionary experience.
