About the Role
A leading chemical company situated in Gauteng is urgently seeking an experienced Factory Manager to join their team. The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for managing and supervising a busy specialty chemical factory, ordering of raw materials, arranging daily production schedules (production planning), health & safety, labour relations (staff management, discipline – warnings, hearings, etc assisted by HR), compliance with SABS, NRCS, ISO, etc., product failure and customer complaints.
Key Responsibilities
- Management and supervision of a busy specialty chemical factory.
- Ordering of raw materials.
- Arranging daily production schedules (production planning).
- Health & Safety.
- Labour Relations (staff management, discipline – warnings, hearings, etc assisted by HR).
- Product failure and customer complaints.
Requirements
- 4 years relevant experience
- Computer skills: MS Suite, SAGE ERP
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Chemistry
