About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee our macadamia, tobacco, and cattle farms in South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial agriculture, with experience in managing multi-farm or estate-level operations. They will be responsible for providing overall operational leadership, coordinating crop and livestock production, managing labour, budgets, inputs, and logistics, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and market requirements.

Requirements
- Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Animal Science, Agronomy, or related field
- Minimum 12–15 years’ senior experience in commercial agriculture
- Proven track record overseeing mixed enterprises (tree crops, annual crops, and/or livestock) with full operational and budget responsibility
- Demonstrated experience in leading senior teams, managing farm managers, and driving performance across multiple sites
- Strong financial and operational skills, including budgeting, cost control, reporting, and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Minimum 12–15 years’ senior experience in commercial agriculture
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary: R500,000 – R750,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
