About the Role
The Maintenance Fitter role at Staff Solutions involves repairing and maintaining equipment in a manufacturing environment. As an experienced maintenance fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment operates optimally, minimizing downtime, and collaborating with production to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose the root cause of equipment failures and implement corrective actions swiftly.
- Minimize downtime by quickly addressing faults, defects, and failures.
- Ensure equipment operates optimally through the application of relevant technical and engineering practices.
- Collaborate with Production to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
- Provide regular reports to the Toolroom Foreman, documenting repairs, downtime, and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Minimum: Grade 12 Certificate (NQF 4)
- Trade Test: Fitter / Fitter and Turner (NQF 5)
- Up to 3 years’ technical and mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Completed Grade 12 Certificate (NQF 4)
