About the Role
Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and supporting the HR and finance departments with relevant payroll-related administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, verify, and capture employee attendance, overtime, and leave records.
- Process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory payroll deductions (e.g. PAYE, UIF, SDL, etc.).
- Maintain and update employee payroll information and files.
- Generate and distribute payslips.
- Assist with payroll queries from staff and management.
- Prepare reports for HR and finance, including payroll summaries, tax reports, and reconciliation data.
- Support year-end processes including IRP5 submissions.
- Coordinate with HR for new hires, terminations, and changes in employment terms.
- Keep up to date with payroll legislation and company policies.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate (required)
- Diploma or Certificate in Payroll Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field (advantageous)
- No previous payroll experience required training will be provided
- Familiarity with any payroll software (e.g. Sage, VIP, PaySpace, SimplePay, etc.) is advantageous but not mandatory
