About the Role
Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking an experienced Wealth Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will provide professional advice to their existing book of clients and members, working with new and existing clients supplied by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with company book of clients to meet and review their portfolio providing professional financial advice and offerings.
- Prospect and obtain new clients in the market to add to its already extensive book.
- Provide financial products and services in a professional manner, building rapport and confidence in the clients.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients.
- Develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to individual client.
- Provide advice on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax optimization.
- Stay informed about market trends and economic developments.
- Assess clients’ risk tolerance and recommend appropriate risk management strategies.
- Provide advice on Investment and Risk Products.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling financial services.
- Network with professionals, attend industry events, and participate in marketing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in financial laws and regulations.
- Prepare regular reports for management and clients.
Requirements
- Minimum Matric with Tertiary Education in Finance related field Non-Negotiable! (NQF5: Wealth Management/ Bcom/Finance-related qualifications)
- RE5 Non-Negotiable
- Driver’s License and own vehicle Non-negotiable
- Relevant Class of Businesses in place
- Fit and Proper
- Minimum 3 Years in Financial Planning Role
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel or related software
Qualifications
- Completed Matric with Tertiary Education in Finance related field (NQF5: Wealth Management/ Bcom/Finance-related qualifications)
- RE5 certification
Salary & Benefits
R20 000 – R30 000 Basic Salary (Experience/Qualification dependent). Lucrative Commission Structure
