About the Role
We are seeking a highly qualified Field Guide to join our luxury safari lodge in the Kalahari, one of South Africa’s most breathtaking and pristine wilderness regions. As a live-in position, you will have the opportunity to guide guests through the stunning landscape while providing exceptional customer service. If you are passionate about the bush and have a professional, guest-focused approach, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide guests on safari excursions
- Prepare and lead game drives
- Maintain accurate records of wildlife sightings and tracking data
- Ensure guest safety and well-being at all times
Requirements
- Minimum NQF4 Field Guide qualification
- Full Trails Guide qualification
- Valid PDP National Department of Tourism (DEAT) Registration
- SAPS Competency Certification
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Previous experience at a luxury 5-star lodge highly advantageous
Qualifications
- Completed Matric or equivalent
