About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Management Couple to join our team at a Game Lodge in Welgevonden, South Africa. The lodge is expanding from 10 beds to 20 beds and requires a dynamic couple to support this project while continuing to run the lodge’s ordinary business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide international guests on game drives and other activities
  • Manage food and beverage services at the lodge
  • Host guests and provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist with daily lodge administration tasks, including admin duties, housekeeping, and maintenance
  • Participate in the day-to-day operations of a small establishment

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working at a luxury 5* Game Lodge interacting with international guests
  • He: Must be qualified as a Nature Guide and have current Trails Guide Qualifications
  • Back-up or Leads will be a strong motivation
  • Experience in maintenance and construction, as well as building and project management, will be advantageous
  • She: Must have experience in general lodge administration
  • Help with Food, Beverage, Hosting, and Housekeeping would also be required
  • Qualifications as a chef will be an ideal extra advantage, or you could also be a Nature Guide

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Formal hospitality qualifications
  • At least 3 years management experience (FGASA Level 1)
  • Valid PDP First Aid certificate
  • Game drive experience and Game Farm and Lodge Management skills
