About the Role
HotelJobs is seeking an experienced and service-driven Groups & Incentives Operations Consultant to join their team in Johannesburg. Our client, a leading inbound DMC, requires someone with exceptional attention to detail, operational efficiency, and the confidence to manage guests directly. This hands-on role will see you coordinating the end-to-end logistics of bespoke group and incentive travel programmes across Southern and East Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end logistics of bespoke group and incentive travel programmes
- Manage guests directly with exceptional people skills
- Set up itineraries, host groups, and manage a full travel file
- Work autonomously and remain calm in a dynamic environment
Requirements
- 45 years of relevant experience in G&I operations or FIT consulting
- Strong working knowledge of Southern and East African safari destinations
- Must have hands-on safari destination knowledge and operational experience
- Proficiency in Tourplan is non-negotiable
- Proven experience in setting up itineraries, hosting groups, and managing a full travel file
- Exceptional attention to detail, multitasking skills, and ability to manage high-pressure logistics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
