About the Role
We are partnering with a well-established Safari operation in Namibia to recruit an experienced Hospitality General Manager. As the hospitality general manager, you will lead and oversee multiple lodge operations, driving service excellence, financial performance, and team development across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction to lodge management teams
- Ensure consistent service standards and guest experience across all properties
- Oversee operational performance, budgets, and cost control
- Support and mentor Lodge Managers and senior departmental heads
- Monitor compliance with SOPs, health & safety, and company policies
- Drive continuous improvement in hospitality standards and operational efficiency
- Liaise with owners, senior management, and support departments
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management at management level
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior hospitality leadership role within the safari or luxury lodge environment
- Strong understanding of multi-lodge operations
- Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting
- Exceptional guest experience and service standards background
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and people-development skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
Qualifications
- Relevant hospitality or business qualification (an advantage)
