Hostess | Luxury Wine & Hospitality Environment A leading luxury wine and hospitality destination is seeking a gracious and confident Hostess to join their front-of-house team. This role is about more than greeting guests. It is about setting the tone for the entire experience. The ideal candidate is naturally warm, well organised, calm under pressure, and passionate about creating memorable guest moments from arrival through to departure. The Role You will manage guest arrivals, reservations, and seating while working closely with the service team to ensure a smooth and professional service experience. As one of the first points of contact, your presence will play an important role in shaping each guests visit. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience Welcome guests warmly and professionally Escort guests to tables and introduce them to the experience Recognise returning guests and acknowledge special occasions Maintain a strong and attentive presence in reception and arrival areas Reservations & Communication Manage reservations, confirmations, and seating plans Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, and in person Manage waitlists and communicate waiting times clearly Liaise with the restaurant and operations teams to ensure smooth service flow Standards & Organisation Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented host station Assist with daily briefings and communicate important guest information Support the team during busy service periods where needed Requirements Experience in an upmarket restaurant, luxury hospitality environment, hotel, or wine estate Strong communication skills and confidence with guests Professional presentation and strong attention to detail Organised with the ability to multitask in a busy environment Comfortable using reservation systems Passion for food, wine, and hospitality is advantageous Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays The Right Person Will Be Naturally warm, approachable, and genuine Calm and solutions-focused under pressure Detail orientated and organised A positive and supportive team player Proud of delivering high service standards What This Role Offers Opportunity to work in a respected luxury hospitality environment Exposure to exceptional wine and dining experiences Supportive and professional team culture Competitive salary aligned with experience If you enjoy working with people and take pride in creating exceptional guest experiences, we would love to hear from you.
