Trails Guide | Luxury Safari Camp | Timbavati
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Trails Guide to join a luxury safari camp in the Timbavati region. This live-in role is ideal for a passionate and knowledgeable guide with a strong focus on wildlife, bushcraft, and guest engagement. Photography skills are considered a bonus.

Key Responsibilities

Lead guided walking safaris and game drives, ensuring guest safety and memorable experiences

Share knowledge of wildlife, ecology, and conservation with guests

Assist in tracking and interpreting animal behaviour

Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism at all times

Work collaboratively with camp staff to deliver seamless guest service

Support camp operations as needed, including maintenance of trails and vehicles
Candidate Requirements

Proven experience as a Trails Guide or Field Guide within a luxury safari environment

Strong knowledge of wildlife, ecology, and bushcraft

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Professional, reliable, and guest-focused

Photography skills are advantageous

Ability to live and work in a remote bush environment
