Job Description

A results-driven company is a seeking a Recruiter Generalist / Recruitment Specialist with solid experience managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple job levels and industries. Proven ability to partner with hiring managers, source high-quality talent, and deliver timely placements aligned with business objectives. Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, labour legislation, and candidate engagement, with a people-first and compliance-focused approach.

Location: Johannesburg

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full recruitment lifecycle: workforce planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, placement, and onboarding

  • Partner with line managers to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and timelines

  • Draft and place job adverts across job boards, social media, and internal platforms

  • Source candidates using databases, LinkedIn, referrals, headhunting, and networking

  • Conduct competency-based interviews and pre-screening assessments

  • Coordinate interviews, reference checks, background checks, and offer management

  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and reports

  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation, EE requirements, and company policies

  • Support onboarding processes and probation follow-ups

  • Assist with employer branding and recruitment process improvement initiatives
