Job Description

Seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to maintain, improve, and build client websites. The ideal candidate is independent, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects while delivering high-quality front-end and back-end solutions. This is a long-term role with growth potential within a stable, ethical agency. Responsibilities · Maintain, optimise, and improve existing WordPress websites. · Handle theme adjustments, plugin setup, front-end styling, and troubleshooting. · Build full websites as required based on client needs. · Resolve performance, UX, and functionality issues. · Communicate directly with clients when needed. · Collaborate with internal team members, including project managers and web leads. · Manage multiple client websites concurrently. Key Requirements · 23 years of solid WordPress development experience. · Strong skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. · Experience with theme customisation and child themes. · Proficiency in at least two page builders: Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or Gutenberg. · Plugin configuration and optimisation experience. · WooCommerce experience is an advantage. · Bonus skills: performance optimisation, DNS/hosting knowledge, Git. · Strong problem-solving ability, independence, and attention to detail. · Comfortable being client-facing. · Proven long-term commitment in previous roles. · Strong WordPress portfolio and reliable communication skills.
