Job Description

Please take note that this Position is based in Qatar- Doha.

The Sales Manager is responsible for increasing sales revenue with a primary focus on oil and gas companies, while maximising rental fleet utilisation through a proactive, structured sales approach. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, growing existing accounts, and ensuring profitable utilisation of company equipment in line with business objectives and company policies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Continuously gather intelligence on new oil and gas projects and contractors and keep management informed of opportunities.

  • Maintain regular client engagement to identify additional business opportunities.

  • Negotiate and close sales in accordance with company terms and conditions.

  • Follow up with clients on receivables to ensure timely payments.

Duties & Responsibilities Sales & Business Development

  • Prospect for new clients within the assigned territory and develop a structured sales plan.

  • Achieve sales volume targets and budget forecasts in line with company goals and policies.

  • Establish new client relationships and maintain existing accounts within allocated regions.

  • Conduct regular client visits to secure sales opportunities and strengthen relationships.

  • Accurately understand and interpret client requirements and ensure solutions meet their needs.

Market Intelligence & Planning

  • Collect market intelligence on ongoing and upcoming projects and prepare annual sales budgets based on forecasts.

  • Prepare weekly sales plans aligned with short-, medium-, and long-term business objectives.

Tendering, Contracts & Pricing

  • Prepare client quotations and negotiate tender and contract terms.

  • Ensure full understanding of the companys technical equipment portfolio through close coordination with the Service Department.

  • Provide pre-sales technical support, including site surveys and solution recommendations.

Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate with the Operations Department to ensure timely delivery of equipment once orders are confirmed and purchase orders are released.

  • Liaise with technical teams and sales colleagues to support smooth execution of projects.

  • Communicate accurate project status updates to the reporting manager.

Client Account Management

  • Administer client accounts and coordinate sales projects.

  • Resolve client issues, including quality-related concerns, and follow through until resolution.

  • Maintain accurate records of client contacts, costs, sales data, and project status.

Internal Communication & Reporting

  • Communicate valuable information internally to ensure rental fleet utilisation remains profitable.

  • Conduct regular progress discussions with the assigned Sales Administrator to maintain a proactive sales approach.

  • Perform any additional duties relevant to business requirements as assigned from time to time.
