Job Description
An established and reputable dental practice in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a full-time HPCSA-registered Dental Assistant to join their friendly, professional team as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, skilled at creating a comfortable and welcoming environment, and able to support the dentist efficiently. Computer literacy is essential, and experience with Elixir Live software is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during procedures efficiently and professionally
- Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software
- Sterilise and prepare dental instruments
- Support general administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- HPCSA registration (Dental Assistant)
- Friendly, professional, and well-presented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy; experience with Elixir Live is advantageous
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:00 17:00 & Alternating Saturdays: 08:00 13:00
Salary: (depending on experience)
