Duties:
- Design and develop end-to-end BI solutions, integrating data from multiple systems into a central data warehouse
- Build, enhance, and maintain ETL processes using Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSIS)
- Develop and support Power BI reports and dashboards to meet evolving business needs
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy, reconciling outputs to source systems
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Support and optimise the existing BI platform, including process improvements and reverse engineering
- Mentor and guide junior team members while driving best practices and standards
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Degree (NQF7+) preferred in Computer Information Systems, Information Management, Finance, or Mathematics
Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in BI/ETL development within a Microsoft BI environment
- Strong technical skills in:
- MS SQL Server, SQL, SSIS
- Power BI (report development)
- Exposure to DevOps and PowerApps
- Solid understanding of:
- ETL methodologies and full SDLC
- Data warehousing and dimensional modelling (Kimball methodology)
- Experience working with data warehouses, cubes, and advanced data models
