RESPONSIBILITIES
- Quality control
- Involvement in the operational aspects of the department
- Mechanical design and layout work
- Producing drawings for manufacturing
- Coordinating routine and planned maintenance
- Liaising with various service providers
- Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and facilitating repairs
- Willingness to get hands dirty assisting with engineering requirements
QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE
- A relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years post qualification relevant working experience
- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Proficiency in CAD
- Have a valid drivers license and a reliable motor vehicle
QUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES
