About the Role: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at our exclusive Guest House situated on a working wine farm in Wellington. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the property during nighttime hours, managing late guest arrivals and departures, performing end-of-day financial tasks, and ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our guests during the night. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily auditing of guest transactions and accounts. Balance and reconcile all revenue streams (accommodation, bar, wine sales, etc.). Generate and distribute daily financial and operational reports. Handle late check-ins, early check-outs, and guest requests during the night. Ensure guest satisfaction by providing professional and friendly service. Monitor the safety and security of the property, including conducting property checks. Liaise with on-call management in the event of an emergency or guest complaint. Prepare for morning handover to the day team. Assist with administrative tasks as required. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar Night Auditor, Front Office, or hospitality role preferred. Strong numerical and administrative skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in hotel management software (experience with Semper, NightsBridge, or similar systems advantageous). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies professionally. Trustworthy, punctual, and able to work independently. Own reliable transport due to location and working hours. Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and night shifts.
