Role 1:
This role focuses on the management and day-to-day operation of a vulture hide and its associated conservation tourism activities.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and visitor experience
- Host and engage with guests, photographers, researchers, and tourists
- Assist with conservation initiatives
- Coordinate bookings, visitor flow, and basic administration
- Ensure health, safety, and conservation protocols are upheld
- Represent the conservation mission professionally and enthusiastically
Core Criteria:
- Strong interest in wildlife conservation and environmental education
- Confident, personable, and guest-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the role
- Prior experience in conservation tourism, guiding, or hospitality is advantageous
- Comfortable living and working in a rural environment
Role 2:
This role supports the management and maintenance of a small family-run farm and resort operation.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Assist with general farm operations and maintenance
- Support day-to-day management of the property
- Basic maintenance, repairs, and infrastructure upkeep
- Assist with guest-related needs when required
- Work closely with owners to ensure smooth daily operations
Core Criteria:
- Practical, hands-on skillset with farm, maintenance, or lodge experience
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual and outdoor work
- Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Previous experience in farming, maintenance, or hospitality operations is beneficial
This is a live-in position. WiFi and laundry included.
