About the Role
As a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects from take-off to completion. You will work closely with the project team to ensure accurate cost management and effective cash flow forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Quantity take-off from drawings
- Compile & price BOQ from scratch
- Prepare & monitor project cash flow forecasts
- Vetting, tender & appointment of sub-contractors
- Measure, cost, submit & negotiate contract variations
- Onsite measurements
- Manage sub-contractors accounts
- Prepare & issue sub-contractors interim payment certificates
- Prepare & submit all interim claims
- Monitor costs against original tenders
- Prepare & agree sub-contractors final accounts
Requirements
- At least 5 years extensive experience in construction, preferably high end residential & multi-unit developments
- Financial Skills
- Analytical ability
- Excellent knowledge of CCS
- Understanding of JBCC Contracts
- Sound knowledge of construction
- Negotiation skills
Qualifications
NDIP(QS) / B-Tech (QS) / NDIP (Construction Management) is preferable
