Our Client, a popular brand in the Hospitality and Entertainment Industry; is seeking to employ an experienced Bookkeeper to their team based in Little Chelsea, Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:
-
Grade 12.
-
Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Finance preferred.
-
Minimum 3 years experience.
-
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.
-
Solid understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
-
Bookkeeping up to Trial Balance for at least 2 entities.
-
Processing point-of-sale month end reports.
-
Processing cashbooks and bank reconciliations.
-
Processing salary journals.
-
Prepare monthly management accounts.
-
Payment of accounts.
-
Complete credit applications.
-
Maintain fixed asset register.
-
Full debtors function.
-
Monitor and follow up of stock count variances.
-
Reconciliation of VAT.
-
Prepare statutory returns.
-
Prepare VAT reconciliations.
