About the Role
The Manager â Security Management Support will oversee the functions of the Management Support Unit, providing strategic leadership and support to ensure the effective delivery of departmental objectives. This role requires a strong background in management support, financial management, administration, and risk coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the functions of the Management Support Unit
- Provide input into departmental strategy and operational plan
- Communicate and clarify strategic goals to team members
- Implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks
- Manage stakeholder relationships to enhance functionality
- Manage the Management Support Unit, including financial management and administration
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage departments budget within allocation and report on deviations
- Manage procure-to-pay process for department
- Manage contract maintenance process to ensure contracts are maintained in line with company policies
- Drive a positive culture within the division and department
- Manage team performance and promote career management and development
Requirements
- Minimum of an Honours degree (NQF 8) in Business Management or equivalent NQF 8 qualification
- Minimum of eight years experience in management support, with at least five years in management
- Solid knowledge of financial management, administration, logistics, records management, and risk coordination
