About the Role
The Financial Assistant role at Pro Tem involves providing administrative support to the finance department, capturing, posting, allocating, and reporting on financial transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for invoicing clients, creditors reconciliations, basic bookkeeping, and assisting with monthly financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoicing to clients (in multiple currencies) (invoices and credit notes)
- Assist with creditors reconciliations and allocations
- Basic Bookkeeping (including bank reconciliations)
- Assist in monthly financial reporting (expense reports, asset list updating, stock takes, etc)
- Prepare documents for banks and other institutions
- Other financial tasks
Requirements
- Matric Essential
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Computer Skills (Microsoft Office-Excel [Advanced], Word, Outlook) Pastel / Sage (Evolution) (2-year recent experience)
- Tertiary financial qualification will be an advantage
