About the Role
Our client, a Global organisation, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Johannesburg on a Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets and costs
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost estimation
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential cost savings
- Prepare and review contract documents, including variations and claims
- Provide expert advice on cost management and risk mitigation strategies
Requirements
- BSc or BTech Quantity Surveying or equivalent assessed qualification
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Project/Contract Management in Design and Build Environment
- Proven expertise in utilising internationally recognised Conditions of Contract (such as FIDIC, NEC, GCC and JBCC)
