About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our FTTH sales team in eThekwini, Durban. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, client retention, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies and business plans to drive sales, client retention, and growth in new and existing markets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Oversee sales operations, reporting, and process improvements to enhance customer service.
- Implement performance management systems, set targets, and manage commission structures.
- Provide ongoing training to ensure the team can present products accurately and effectively.
- Ensure all contracts and proposals are complete, correctly signed, and commercially sound.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit and onboard top sales talent, maintaining strong relationships with recruitment partners.
Requirements
- 3 years of sales experience
- Drivers Licence Code 10
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ICT industry experience is advantageous
Qualifications
- Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelors in Business Administration, Office Management, Customer Service, or related discipline
- Grade 12 required
