About the Role
Join our forward-thinking Marketing Consultancy in Cape Town as an AI Engineer to help build AI-powered solutions for challenger brands. You will work directly with the Lead Product Engineer in London, contributing to a competitive intelligence platform and developing AI agent prototypes that solve real strategy, creative, and media challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Build AI agent prototypes
- Work alongside the Lead Product Engineer to develop and validate AI-powered solutions
- Scale the platform
- Contribute to a competitive intelligence platform
- Write clean code, build features, and improve architecture as they grow
- Work with LLMs programmatically
- Manage and query databases

Requirements
- Python proficiency
- Programmatic access to LLMs from OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar
- Database familiarity (SQL) including design of schemas for relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL solutions
- A contextual builder mindset
- Self-starter energy and comfort with feedback
