About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Company Secretary to provide governance and compliance support to our organisation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant corporate laws and regulations, maintaining statutory registers, and advising on corporate governance best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide company secretarial support in line with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant corporate laws and regulations
- Maintain and update statutory registers, records, and company documentation
- Prepare, review, and manage board and shareholder meeting documentation
- Draft agendas, resolutions, and minutes
- Advise on corporate governance best practices
- Support directors on governance-related matters
- Risk Management & Reporting:
- Assist in developing and maintaining risk management frameworks
- Identify, assess, and document organisational risks
- Prepare structured risk reports for management / board review
- Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor and report on compliance and governance risks
Requirements
- Registered / qualified Company Secretary (preferred)
- Proven experience in company secretarial, governance, and compliance functions
- Demonstrated experience in risk management and risk reporting
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles
- Excellent documentation, organisational, and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (e.g. LLB, Company Secretaries qualification)
Salary & Benefits
