About the Role
Innovation Advance is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee a desert fleet at one of Namibia’s most breathtaking landscapes. As part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences and well-maintained systems while driving unforgettable journeys across the Sossusvlei region.
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle & plant inspections
- Servicing schedules and turnaround optimization
- Generator servicing and reliability management
- Hands-on test drives and quality assurance
- Maintenance record-keeping and fuel usage analysis
- Fleet presentation that meets 5-star guest expectations
- Budgeting, stock control, and workshop cleanliness
- Liaising with lodge teams, trainers, and guests
- Workshop staff leadership: recruitment, reviews, development & discipline
- Spare parts procurement, storage security, and recharge accountability
- Month-end reports and QuickBooks stock allocations
- Enforcing health, safety, and compliance protocols
Requirements
Trade-tested mechanical qualification
5 years in workshop experience
Proven workshop management (min 3 years)
Hospitality experience highly advantageous
Environmentally conscious mindset
Crystal-clear English communication (written and spoken)
Valid driver’s license and passport
Excel, Word, and budget awareness
