About the Role
Lluvia Developers is seeking a reliable Foreman to join our team in Centurion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry and demonstrate excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing daily activities on a worksite to ensure the completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner.
- Supervision of construction workers and skilled personnel to carry out specific tasks.
- Coordination of daily tasks according to priorities and plans, and making changes when necessary due to weather, inventory, delivery, and personnel.
- Delegation of individual responsibilities and projects to team members and contractors.
- Provision of sufficient resources and personnel to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety requirements.
- Emphasis on the safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing training on safety equipment, helmets, and procedures.
- Development and management of project budgets and quality standards for all sites.
- Resolving conflicts or miscommunication quickly and amicably.
- Regular reporting of project status to supervisor.
Requirements
- Must be between the ages of 25-40
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the construction industry
- Matric (Grade 12)
- A Diploma in Construction Management or a related field will be advantageous
- Must reside in Centurion
- Must be willing to travel as required
Salary & Benefits
R18,000.00 per month
