About the Role
Takora is seeking an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer to join our team in the Eastern Cape region. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and relevant industry experience. We are looking for someone who can provide expert support to our engineering teams and contribute to the success of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers with project planning, design, and implementation
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress
- Develop and implement quality control measures
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met
- Provide technical support to site personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor of Technology Degree or Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Labour-Intensive Construction unit standard at NQF Level 5 (SAQA-accredited)
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technologist or Professional Engineering Technician
- At least 4 years of post-graduate site experience
