About the Role

Join the South African Army as a member of our esteemed landward branch, playing a critical role in defending our nation’s territorial integrity and contributing to national security through professional military operations and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in professional military operations to support national security objectives
  • Engage with local communities to promote social cohesion and stability
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of military strategies and plans
  • Collaborate with other branches of the SANDF to achieve common goals
  • Uphold the values and ethos of the South African Army

Requirements

  • A valid SA National Service certificate (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in one of the 11 official languages of South Africa
  • Physical fitness and medical suitability for military service
  • Ability to pass a selection process, including aptitude tests and interviews
  • Willingness to serve in various operational environments

Qualifications

  • No formal qualifications are required for this role; however, relevant experience or training may be advantageous.
