About the Role
As a Feed Sales Representative at Virtual Vibe Consulting, you will be responsible for selling products such as feed for cattle, sheep/goats, horses, pigs and poultry to farmers and wholesalers. You will also play a key role in marketing the company’s product by understanding the feed industry and animal nutrition.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients, either by phone or in person, to discuss their needs on the farm and/or for their business.
- Be knowledgeable regarding the feed industry to keep an eye on competitor products and changing needs.
- Increase sales by being a strategic thinker and well informed of your client’s needs.
- Educate farmers/clients on the benefits of choosing the feed and why it compares better against the competition.
- Provide training to sales staff and applicable staff at wholesalers.
- Generate leads and follow-up on possible prospects through attending auctions and/or shows.
- Act as the point of reference for co-workers, farmers and clients by keeping yourself up to date with improvement of products and services.
Requirements
- Sales experience in the Feed Industry
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and confident
- Positive and optimistic attitude
- Problem solving skills
Qualifications
Valid Senior Certificate
