VAKATURE: Produksiebestuurder (Droë-ys) Ligging: Durban Sektor: Vervaardiging / Gasbedryf Diensaanvaarding: So gou moontlik Ons kliënt, n vooraanstaande verskaffer van droë-ys in Durban, is op soek na n georganiseerde en flink Produksiebestuurder . Die suksesvolle kandidaat sal verantwoordelik wees vir die volledige produksieketting vanaf grondstowwe tot by die finale aflewering aan die kliënt. Sleutel Verantwoordelikhede Produksiebeplanning: Bestuur van produksieprosesse om te verseker dat alle kliëntbestellings betyds en volgens standaard nagekom word. Voorraadbestuur (Grondstowwe): Monitering van LCO2-vlakke en die plaas van bestellings (bv. Afrox) om produksie-onderbrekings te voorkom. Verpakking & Materiaal: Bestuur en bestelling van verpakkingsmateriaal (Tainers, bokse, band, plastiekomslae, ens.). Verslaggewing: Daaglikse opstel en indiening van “Rec Rat” en LCO2-verslae, asook die samestelling van maandelikse voorraadopnames. Voorraadbeheer: Effektiewe rotasie en bestuur van voltooide droë-ys voorraad op hande. Vlootbestuur: Toesig oor die instandhouding, diens en algemene versorging van die maatskappy se voertuie. Logistiek: Bystand met roetebeplanning vir aflewerings en ad hoc administratiewe ondersteuning aan die kantoorspan. Kritiese Vereistes Ondervinding: Bewese ondervinding in n produksie- of fabrieksbestuursrol (ondervinding in die gas- of verkoelingsbedryf is n groot voordeel). Vaardighede: Uitstekende beplanningsvermoë en aandag aan detail (veral met voorraadrotasie). Tegniese Geletterdheid: Vermoë om akkurate verslae op te stel en syfers te hanteer. Houding: n Hande-viervoet benadering wat kan aanpas by die vinnige pas van n vervaardigingsomgewing. Wat die Rol Bied n Stabiele werksomgewing in n nismark. VACANCY: Production Manager (Dry Ice) Location: Durban Sector: Manufacturing / Industrial Gas Commencement: As soon as possible Our client, a specialized dry ice manufacturer in Durban, is looking for a highly organized and proactive Production Manager . The successful candidate will oversee the entire production cyclefrom raw material monitoring to final delivery logistics. Key Responsibilities Production Planning: Managing production schedules to ensure all client orders are met accurately and on time. Raw Material Management: Monitoring LCO2 levels and placing orders (e.g., Afrox) to prevent production downtime. Packaging & Consumables: Ordering and managing all packaging materials (Tainers, brown boxes, tape, plastic sleeves, etc.). Reporting: Daily management and posting of Rec Rat and LCO2 reports; compiling comprehensive monthly stock takes. Stock Control: Managing dry ice stock on hand with a focus on high-efficiency stock rotation (due to sublimation). Fleet Management: Overseeing vehicle maintenance, services, and general upkeep. Logistics & Admin: Assisting with route planning for deliveries and providing ad-hoc support to the admin team. Critical Requirements Experience: Proven track record in production or factory management (experience in the gas or cold chain industry is a significant advantage). Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in reporting, inventory figures, and stock-take procedures. Logistics: Ability to assist with efficient route planning and fleet oversight. Attributes: A hands-on leader who is detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
