About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Treasury Analyst to join our client’s team in Johannesburg East. As a key member of the treasury function, you will support the Treasurer and Treasury Manager with local and international funding, cash management, and strategic treasury projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to transition from general finance into specialized treasury exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with local and international funding requests, loan rollovers, and utilisations
- Update and maintain international interest rate schedules and distribute reports
- Support daily and monthly cash flow forecasting (local and international)
- Load payments on international banking platforms and follow through on settlements
- Assist with Treasury Management System updates and interest calculations
- Support SA and international divisions with daily cash management processes
- Prepare and distribute ALCO packs and treasury meeting schedules
- Maintain bank account registers, guarantee registers, signatory updates, and KYC documentation
- Collate FX schedules and distribute monthly bank fee analysis
- Liaise with auditors and manage treasury-related documentation
- Support the Treasurer and Treasury Manager with ad-hoc projects and system improvements
Requirements
- Newly Qualified CA(SA)
- Minimum 2 years treasury experience essential
- Strong understanding of bank administrative processes
- Knowledge of receivables, payables, and cash management processes
- Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong MS Excel capability
- Detail-driven with the ability to operate in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
