About the Role
As a Junior Graphic Artist at our client’s clothing company in Durban, you will be responsible for producing on-trend graphics for clothing ranges while also supporting the team with key administrative tasks. If you’re organised, deadline-driven, and thrive in a fast-moving fashion space, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and managing graphics within the clothing range
- Interpreting fashion trends and translating them into commercial designs
- Assisting with administrative and production-related tasks
- Managing multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
Requirements
- Matric
- Qualification in Fashion Design, Clothing Production, or Clothing Management
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Graphic Design / Graphic Artist role within a clothing company
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Sync experience advantageous, but not essential
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required for this role. However, relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field may be an advantage.
