About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Medical Service Technician to join our team in Johannesburg, responsible for providing technical support and services to Government and Private hospitals in the designated medical range.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to repairs and services required at Government and Private hospitals
- On-site and remote product support of all products in the designated medical range
- Demo support of all products in the designated range
- Installation, facilitation & support of all products in the designated range including technical support in operating theatre as and when required
- After-sales support of all products in the designated range
- Develop sustainable relationships with existing customers and current non-customers in area
- Prepare and submit weekly planners and reports
- Give technical support in operating theatre when required
- Ongoing training of surgeons, clinical engineers and theatre staff
Requirements
- Relevant Diploma or Degree
- 1 – 2 years experience as a Clinical Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Medical Technician
- Fluency in English is a necessity
- Valid code 08 drivers license & own vehicle
- Computer literate with specific knowledge of the MS Office package
