About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Mechanical to join our team in Pretoria. As a technically strong engineer with a proven track record in defence or military vehicle projects, you will thrive in a structured, high-performance environment. With 37 years of experience in project engineering and a strong understanding of mechanical systems integration, you will be instrumental in delivering successful projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through to production
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, production, procurement, and quality
- Oversee system integration and vehicle-level project execution
- Ensure projects are delivered within scope, time, cost, and compliance requirements
- Identify and mitigate technical and project risks
- Drive continuous improvement and technical excellence
Requirements
- BEng Mechanical or BEng Mechatronic Engineering (essential)
- 37 years experience in a Project Engineering role (essential)
- Proven experience within the defence industry and/or military vehicle environment (essential)
