About the Role
A fast-growing and innovative manufacturing solutions business is looking for a Field Engineer to join their dynamic technical team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong electrical or mechatronics background who thrives in a field-based environment and is comfortable travelling to client sites across South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and assessments to identify electrical system faults and develop repair plans
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems at client sites
- Collaborate with clients to understand their electrical needs and provide solutions
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform fault-finding activities
Requirements
- Electrical qualification (Electrician / Electrical Technician / Engineering Diploma or similar)
- 35 years experience in a field-based or technical role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage travel schedules
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
