Responsibilities:
1.Receiving and Inspecting Goods:Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the items received against purchase orders or delivery notes.Inspect goods for damages or defects and report discrepancies to the appropriate parties.2.Inventory Management:Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock levels, stock movements, and reorder points.Conduct regular physical counts to ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.3.Storage and Organization:Safely store items in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.Use appropriate storage methods to prevent damage or deterioration of goods.4.Picking and Packing:Fulfill internal or external orders by selecting appropriate items from inventory and preparing them for shipment.Ensure orders are accurately packed, labeled, and staged for pickup or delivery.5.Quality Control:Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements.Report any quality issues or non-conformities to the appropriate personnel.Ensure all labels of all warehouse stock are facing the walkways.Ensure all inventory is in bin locations.Company housekeeping is maintained. 6.Communication and Collaboration:Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
