Job Summary
Job functions duties and responsibilities. Main tasks: Daily capturing of Cashbook, Customer transactions and supplier transactions. Ensure accurate and timeous billing to Customers. Manage incoming payment requests. Prepare payment packs and load payments on bank. Preparation of supplier reconciliations. Assist with year-end audit preparation and queries as required. Ensure all excess funds are transferred to the call account by COB. Update management with daily bank balances Liaise and resolve supplier queries. Assist with SARS queries as requested by the accountants. Bank Card Transactions collect slips for month end capturing. Manual and electronic filing of bank statements, supplier invoices and supplier statements. Assist with customer collections and attend to attend to customer queries. Ad- hoc finance related queries.
Requirements:
South African Unemployed youth not over the age of 35. Currently unemployed. Self-Starter. Basic accounting knowledge. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Attention to detail and accuracy. Fit in with the Company culture. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work in a team. Ability to work under pressure. Must be computer literate specifically MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Well-spoken. Good email etiquette. Good with general admin. Character attributes. Integrity and reliability. Good work ethic. Consistent and great attitude. Willing to learn. Fit in with the company culture. Good with general administration.
