Job Summary

Experience and Qualifications:1. Grade 122. Preferred qualification of N5 with a recognized Boilermaker or Welder trade qualification, together with 3 years experience in a heavy industry (experience in a cement plant will be advantageous) OR,3. N4 with a recognized Boilermaker or Welder trade qualification, with 5 years of cement production experience OR,4. N3 with a recognized Boilermaker or Welder trade qualification, with 8 years cement production experience inclusive of the learnership period OR,5. Recognized Boilermaker or Welder trade qualification, with 10 years cement production experience inclusive of the learnership period.6. Extensive experience in maintenance system implementation and strategy.7. Experience in people management.8. Valid code 8 drivers license.9. Must be declared medically fit after medical examination.Skills and Knowledge: Advanced fault finding techniques and root cause analysis skills. Thorough knowledge of cement or clinker manufacturing equipment and process. Sufficient knowledge of heavy industry equipment to do proper plant inspection, maintenance and repairs Knowledge of health, safety and environmental risks identification and statutory requirements and management.
