Job Summary
Requirements:
Matric Plus Accounting / Tax Technician designation; Additional certificate in Tax and Accounting will be advantageous 3 years experience in Accounting working with SARS matters Key responsibilities: Preparing tax returns for companies, ensuring information is accurate and comply with South African Revenue Service (SARS) regulations; Collecting supporting documents, and ensuring records are up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements; Engaging with SARS for basic queries, updates, and submission follow-ups, assisting with resolving tax issues or disputes; Handling tax administration-related tasks i.e. scheduling appointments, handling emails, and updating client information in the system; Assisting in submissions of EMP 501, EMP 201`s, VAT 201`s and relevant audits. Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of South African tax laws is crucial, as well as an ability to learn quickly under supervision.
