Responsibilities:
System Design & Development: Design and implement control and instrumentation systems for critical mining equipment, processing plants, and infrastructure. Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation and commissioning of control systems, ensuring all systems are fully operational and compliant with safety standards. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Develop and execute maintenance programs, and provide troubleshooting expertise to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency. Safety & Compliance: Enforce and follow strict safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment, especially in high-risk areas. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and process engineers, to deliver integrated solutions. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for optimization, improve system performance, and stay updated on the latest technologies. What Were Looking For: Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering. Proven experience in control and instrumentation within the mining or heavy industry sector. Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements in mining. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Hands-on experience with control systems, PLCs, SCADA, and DCS.
