You will be responsible for managing all shop floor functions within a panel beater shop, ensuring these operations are executed efficiently and effectively.This role requires a hands on manager, preferably with a proven track record of improvement and efficiency initiatives.A non-negotiable requirement is prior experience at a management level within a Panel beating and spray painting environment.You will have 5-8 years of managerial experience in the automotive repair industry, with a strong understanding efficiency estimating and on time delivery.A key aspect of this role involves the oversight of the maintenance and operation of plant equipment, human resource management, and the implementation of business control systems.Core responsibilities include production planning, setting and measuring production standards, managing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring the smooth operation of utilities such as compressed air.The role also involves managing personnel, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining safety, health, and environmental standards at the shop. Leadership, analytical, and organisational skills are critical to succeed in this role.
