Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Technician with experience in operating and maintaining Sidel and Huskey machines in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that our machinery is running smoothly and producing high-quality products on a consistent basis.
Responsibilities:
– Operate and maintain Sidel and Huskey machines in accordance with company guidelines and safety regulations
– Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize production output
– Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts
– Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions in a timely manner
– Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance and repairs
– Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements
– Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– 2+ years of experience operating and maintaining Sidel and Huskey machines
– Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
– Technical certification or degree in a related field
– Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
– Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
