Job Summary
Johannesburg – Gauteng
- Lead solution designs, presentations and demonstrations to prospects and customers.
- Own the product and technical aspects of sales engagements to achieve successful outcomes.
- Work closely with a variety of teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and other content contributors and resources.
- Proactively scope the solution required to address customer requirements, assess customers met and unmet needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for the customer.
- Contextualize the value of solutions to clients through value-driven presentations and demonstrations.
- Coordinate closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers business requirements.
- Secure input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the company and the prospect.
- Adapt solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support.
- Own and complete product and information security responses for RFPs/RFIs.
- Secure from customer staff commitments needed to ensure a deals technical win.
- Meet assigned targets for sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or other teams supported.
- Provide coaching and professional development to team members and sales colleagues in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
- Partner with the Sales team and maintain a productive and positive relationship.
- Contribute to team sales quotas.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
- Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned timeframe.
- Matric / Grade 12 Certificate.
- Relevant Bachelor`s Degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Presales Consulting role, preferably software solutions.
- Demonstrates expertise across Diligent solutions to qualify or win deals.
- Excellent presentation abilities to all levels in a business i.e., Tech/ C-level.
- Ideally have experience in the GRC software implementation space.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and networking skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and thrive under pressure.
- Ability to multi-task and work across multiple projects and clients, without dropping-the-ball.
- Well-spoken and presentable.
- Demonstrate a passion for the products and the domain.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal in English.
- Self-enabling; rapidly acquires new technical skills and domain knowledge.
- Resourceful, creative, and strategic in troubleshooting problems.
- Be self-motivated and a collaborative team player.
- Be driven.
- Can name more than three Star Wars characters.
