The company will provide training towards an Internal Sales position.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
To create sales order on computer system
To liaise with customers when there is a possible stock shortage
To liaise with representative on price and material supplied to customers
To request faxed or emailed orders from customers
To ensure, when creating an order, correct account, item, quantity and pricing are used
To ensure that the correct procedure is followed for customers whose account is on hold?
To inform respective sales representative of customers on hold due to no payment
To liaise and communicate with warehouse and production
To ensure customer care and customer service
To ensure customer queries are dealt with, without delay
To handle tele sales and do market research
To ensure that customers are offered other products when ordering or any other requirement that might be needed
To ensure that no manufactured items are created without an official written order
To ensure that proof of payment on COD customer are received before order for manufactured items are created No items to be delivered without payment!
To ensure that internal sales equipment is maintained in a proper manner
To ensure that the internal sales area is kept neat and tidy at all times
To ensure that safety standards are kept in accordance with company policy
To ensure that no unauthorized person/s enter the internal sales office without authorization
To ensure that proper housekeeping is managed at all times
Provide weekly feedback relating to lost sales and back orders.
To ensure that filing is done on a daily basis and that POD’s are filed appropriately
